On Wednesday (3/7/12) The Royals lost to the Cubs 6-4. In the first the Cubs stared well scoring five runs then in the forth the Royals scored making it a 4-1 game. But in the sixth the Cubs scored making it a 4 run led again then in the eighth both teams scored so it was 6-2 and then in the ninth the Royals scored two but that was all and thy lost 6-4. The Royals are now 3-2 in spring training. In the AL the Royals are tide for sixth with the Blue Jays 2 games back of the Tigers. In the Cactus League they are tied with the Giants in fifth 1 game back of the Mariners.
Player of the game: Bryan LaHair 2-3 1 run scored and 1 RBI.
Pitcher of the game: Jeff Samardzija 3 innings 1 hit and 3 strikeouts.
