Big ninth gets the Royals the win.

 On Monday (9/5/2011) the Royals got of to a good start scoring 3 runs in the first but in the second the A's got 4 then in the in the third Billy Butler hit a solo shot to tie it in the fifth the A's then got 2 runs in the fifth and got the lead 6-4 but the in the seventh Billy Butler hit a 2 run shot to tie it up for the second time the in the top of the ninth the Royals got 5 and won 11-6. With the win the Royals are 59-83. In the central they are forth .5 games upon the Twins, 18.5 games back of the White Soxs, 19 games back of the Indians and 20.5 games back of the Tigers.

Player of the game: Billy Butler (Royals) 3-4 2 home runs and 3 RBIs.
Pitcher of the game: Joakim Soria (Royals) 1 inning, no runs, no hits, no walks and 3 K's.
