On Thursday (4/15/11) the royals had a short game just 7.5 innings were played but the royals win 4-1. In the win Wilson Beteimit hit a solo shot in the forth and Bruce Chen won the game going eight innings and gave up just one run. The Royals are now 8-4. In the central they are now tied for first with the Indians, 1 game up on the White Soxs, 2.5 games upon he Tigers and 4 games up on the Twins.
